Panhandlers or beggars begging money from strangers has become a fairly usual daily activity could be seen in the heart city of Bandung. Looking at them always makes me feel guilty but grateful not necessarily to be like them. Thanks to God for letting me be born in a middle class family.
Not trying to be mawkish or melancholy, sometimes I feel sad that the richness of our delightful country could not help to enhance welfare of the nation. Poverty is deemed an unseemly issue yet macerate for this great nation. Time is running out and soon our time, the youth of the nation, will come. Soon us 10 or 20 years later, as leaders of the nation, would be asked to resolve the issue. Why don’t we think about the solution now?
